The aim of the Lions is to promote the good works of the organisation and to assist with charitable causes by raising funds by organising local events and encouraging local people to become involved.

Local Clubs are part of the world’s largest such organisation, with more than 1.35 million members in 45,000 clubs serving in 200 countries and geographical areas.

The association is both non-political and non- sectarian.

Local businesses are also encouraged to sponsor our activities which are all non profit making.

It's GREEEAT to be a Lion and 20% of members are  ladies.
